Concentration & IB Program Application


Thank you for your interest in the Concentration and IB Programs. The application form is currently closed. Applications will open on September 8th, 2026 and close on October 2nd, 2026. For more information about these programs, please contact the Program Coordinators listed below.

For students who wish to apply to a program for secondary 2 to 5, the deadline to apply is March 31st, for the following school year. To apply, please contact a program coordinator below to obtain a registration form and application requirements. Try-outs/auditions are held in April and May depending on the discipline with admission decisions communicated in June.

Sport Excellence Athletic Evaluations for 2027-2028

Basketball: Monday, October 5th from 15h00 to 17h30 (to be confirmed) in the Heritage Regional High School’s gymnasiums. Please ensure your child has indoor running or Basketball shoes, shorts and a T‑shirt, as well as a personal water bottle.

Hockey: Monday October 5th from 13h00 to 15h00 at Arena Rosanne Laflamme (located beside Heritage at 7405 Terrasse du Centre, Saint-Hubert). If required, your child may be invited to attend a second evaluation session on Friday, October 16, from 14h00 to 16h00 at Arena Rosanne-Laflamme. Additional information will be provided if participation in this session is necessary. Please ensure your child has a personal water bottle.

Soccer: Monday, October 5th from 9h00 to 11h30 (to be confirmed) on the synthetic soccer field located behind Heritage. Please ensure your child has the required outdoor soccer clothing and a personal water bottle.   

Swimming: At Rosanne Laflamme pool — date and time to be announced. (Located beside Heritage at 7405 Terrasse du Centre, Saint‑Hubert).

Track and Field: October 7th from 16h15 to 18h30 (to be confirmed).  Please meet on the track behind the school. Please note students will be asked to take part in jumps, sprints and run an 800 meter (2 laps of a standard track).  The majority of the evaluation will take place outdoors. Please ensure your child has a personal water bottle. 

Gymnastics: To be announced. 

Fine Arts Focus Grade 6 Auditions:  Monday, October 6th, 2025 at Heritage Regional High School

  • All FAF applicants are asked to check-in at the Main Foyer 10 minutes prior to their audition time.  
  • All FAF applicants with undergo an interview as part of the audition process.


FAF Dance:  2:00 pm to 4:00 pm 

-applicants are asked to come prepared to access their music for their 1-minute creation and to be dressed in dance attire for the technique and choreography part of the audition. The expected audition time for all FAF Dance applicants is 2 hours.

FAF Drama: by appointment

-applicants are asked to come prepared with their 1-2 minute monologue and a hard copy of their process essay. Applicants may also be asked to perform improvisation.  A FAF Coordinator will email parents/guardians 48-hours prior to the date with their child’s audition time. The audition will last no longer than 20 minutes.

FAF Music: by appointment

-applicants are asked to come prepared to perform their 3 contrasting pieces (8 minutes total). They will also undergo a series of short musical aptitude exercises. A FAF Coordinator will email parents/guardians 48-hours prior to the date with their child’s audition time. The audition will last no more than 20 minutes.

FAF Visual Arts: 9:00 am to 11:30 am

-applicants will participate in a drawing test at the time of the audition. All supplies are provided. As well, applicants must submit their digital art portfolio of clear pictures taken from above of their 6-7 pieces to VMandamadiotis@rsb.qc.ca  at least 48 hours prior to their audition.  The expected audition time for all FAF Visual Arts applicants is between 2 and 2.5 hours.

iTEC ‘Get to know you’ Questionnaire 2026

All iTEC applicants will be asked to come in person to meet the coordinators and fill in a Technology questionnaire (this is not a test). The questionnaire will be used to help us know the applicants and their exposure and comfort using technology.

Date: Monday, October 5th 2026

Time: 10:45 to 12h00 or 12h45 to 14h00 (We will meet you in the Main Foyer, no need to confirm your time)

Candidates are asked to report to the main foyer at 10h45 or 12h45 and then will be directed to rooms A205 and A207 for the ”get to know you” questionnaire.

Duration: 1 hour

International Baccalaureate Requirements 2025-2026

All applicants for the IB (International Baccalaureate) programme will need to follow a specific registration process. Here’s a guide on how to complete the application. This can also be found on the IB program page.


Step 1: Complete the application form and submit the Grade 5 Report Card. The Grade 5 report card is proof of your child’s academic history. This document will help the admissions committee assess your academic readiness for the IB program.

Step 2: Following the application deadline to the IB programme, you will receive, via email, an additional form to fill out with your child.
