Da Bomb - Heritage's talent show

Da Bomb Variety Show is one of the biggest events of the school year. In it’s 26th year, this show is a long standing Heritage tradition. Auditions for the show are held at the end of September and it’s open to all students of HRHS in all programs. Over sixty auditions are held annually and of the sixty, the top twenty five acts are selected. These talented students play 3 sold out shows. Our show boasts some of the most impressive lighting and sound technology giving it a very professional feel.

A large portion of the show’s profits go to our annual Festival of Gifts Campaign. For the last forty years, HRHS has provided Christmas Baskets to over fifty families in our community. The show also brings in hundreds of non-perishable goods which fill the food boxes.

Without a doubt, Da Bomb is a great show providing for a great cause.

HRHS Tech Crew

HRHS TECH CREW is a group of students who are trained by our AV specialist Jean Martin Piette – sound and lighting specialist. This extra-curricular activity is open to all HRHS students who have an interest in show production. TECH CREW students work all shows produced at HRHS and many of our graduates have gone on to work in the production field.

One of our former TECH CREW members has run the score board at the Centre Bell and another runs the score board for the Ottawa Senators.

We recruit new members all the time and being a member provides for a very rich high school experience.
